The intersection between HR strategy and HR technology

Networking From An Island

This was a fun way to “network” although I don’t know if you could actually call it networking if you don’t know who you’re talking to and you have no anticipation that they will ever respond to your queries.

OK, as a communication and networking tool it sucks and I’ve been trying to think of a useful way to use this, but can’t so far.  Any ideas?

I can see how that could get very addicting. I sent out one, let me know if you get it. Ha.

Well its a bit like UATs (User Accetance Testing)… you ask for feedback, signatures, approvals and sometimes, on a lucky day, you get something back ; )

Thanks a lot, Dubs. Now I’m staring into a virtual ocean and getting no work done! ……

Just picked up a message. After reading it (or trying to) I don’t think I will get addicted to the site. I do have concerns about the future labor pool, however 😉

C.M., maybe you should have gotten this one to break the spell the site cast on you:
