Basically, any time we&#8217;re implementing a system that will include a form of manager or employee self service, or designing a report for distribution, we should be thinking about what the communication effect is.  More broadly than that, we should really be pre-planning what necessary actions we should take and how we should be thinking about the potential ramifications of our output.  I ran across this great research paper on the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/\">7 Habits of Highly Effective Benefit Communications<\/a>&#8221; and I really thought most of it had broader scope than just benefits.
