Page81))<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ve defined (time and time again) HR strategy as \u201cshaping the workforce.\u201d Open ended as that is, there are two things I\u2019d like to point out:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>This implies that you have to know what you want your workforce to look like. In order to shape it, you have to have a shape in mind.<\/li>\n<li>The word \u201cshaping\u201d is intentionally an action oriented word.
