(if not, scroll down and read a bit).  Terminating employees has never gotten too much press aside from COBRA, HIPAA, getting your property back and exit interviews.  However, just as there are technology requirements for a seamless on-boarding process, many of these must be reversed during terminations. <\/p>\n<p>Critically, employee access to buildings and access to systems must be turned off immediately.  For these 2 elements, IT needs to know by the time the termination happens or very very soon after.  I found <a href=\"http:\/\/humanresources.about.com\/od\/whenemploymentends\/a\/it_termination.htm\">this<\/a> nice about.com article about IT and terminations.
