{"id":668,"date":"2007-01-30T05:31:49","date_gmt":"2007-01-30T13:31:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/systematichr.com\/?p=668"},"modified":"2007-02-07T21:12:01","modified_gmt":"2007-02-08T05:12:01","slug":"employee-morale-and-the-boss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/systematichr.com\/?p=668","title":{"rendered":"Employee Morale and the Boss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image672\" height=\"87\" alt=\"Business Week Graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/systematichr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/02\/what-people-want.thumbnail.jpg\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The other day, I came across an interesting graph a client of mine had copied from a BusinessWeek article.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been trying to find it online, to no avail.\u00a0 I found reference to it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkblogs.com\/numericlife\/2007_01_01_numericlife_archive.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, on another blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkblogs.com\/numericlife\" target=\"_blank\">NumericLife<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everyone has a boss to deal with<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When employees were polled to pick New Year&#8217;s resolution for their managers,<br \/>\n&#8211; 18% say &#8216;deal with workplace conflicts faster&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8211; 14% say &#8216;be less of a micromanager&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8211; 12% say &#8216;recognize work well done&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8211;
