Obviously if you read my prior posts, I have some focus on what the role of HR and SOX is, but most companies still don’t see the connection. Clearly HR is critical in communicating changes and implementing training to the employee population. However, HR should often be involved in evaluating systems as employee scheduling, labor standards, benefits, payroll, time & labor are all items that impact financial statements eventually.
